What we’re doing

The City of Sydney proposes to enter into a planning agreement in connection with the development application number D/2023/267.

VPA number: VPA/2023/6

Location: 132–138 McEvoy Street, Alexandria NSW 2015

The objective of the planning agreement is to secure public benefits in connection with the development application for the land.

The nature of the planning agreement is:

  • to secure the dedication of land for footpath widening
  • construction of a widened footpath
  • a monetary contribution of $397,904 for community infrastructure to the Green Square urban renewal area including roads, drainage systems, utility services, parks, plazas and other public facilities.

The effect of the planning agreement is for the public benefits to be delivered in a timely manner with the development of the land, as set out in the agreement.
