What we’re doing
The City of Sydney proposes to enter into a planning agreement in connection with VPA number VPA/2022/13.
Locations:
- 28 Bourke Road, Alexandria NSW 2015
- 30–32 Bourke Road, Alexandria NSW 2015
The objective of the planning agreement is to secure public benefits in connection with the development consent for the land.
The nature of the planning agreement is a binding contract that has the effect of requiring the owner to:
- construct and dedicate a widened footpath to the Bourke Road frontage
- embellish and transfer land for new public roads
- make a monetary contribution of $292,372 to the City of Sydney towards community infrastructure in the Green Square urban renewal area.
The monetary contribution includes, but is not limited to, roads, drainage systems, utility services, parks, plazas and other public facilities.
