What we’re doing
Under the Local Government Act 1993, local approvals policies must be reviewed after each Council election.
City of Sydney approval is required to operate a mobile food vending vehicle in our local area. The requirements and conditions that need to be met by operators are outlined in the mobile food vending vehicles policy — local approvals policy.
The existing policy has been reviewed and minor amendments made. The changes include:
- new information about revocation process
- refusal to grant new approvals and renewals for applicants with a history of non-compliance.
