A $1.2 million refurbishment has transformed the facilities into a modern, hi-tech space.

These facilities were officially unveiled by Lord Mayor Clover Moore.

What we’re doing

The library’s improvements include new computers, a wifi lounge area and facilities for adult learning.

The new level 2 at the library provides:

  • lounge chairs and seating areas with power points for portable devices
  • a bank of computers with free internet access
  • a function area with space for 50 people
  • area for magazines, newspapers and community notices 
  • space for art exhibitions.
