What we’re doing
We’ve identified the need to upgrade seating in Hyde Park. We’re aiming to increase the amount of seating, using a similar design to the current seating.
The new seating will provide areas for rest and relaxation for visitors to Hyde Park.
Why we’re doing this
This project is part of a suite of works identified in the 2006 plan of management and masterplan for Hyde Park.
The plans identify infrastructure replacements and improvements to address the impacts on the park from its increased use and popularity.
